Hi all,
Woot! We're on the final stretch! Less than 63 hours to go!
This will be a short and sweet update, and you'll want to read the whole thing, got a bit of a surprise!
So we're at $15,499 currently. Many of you saw we had a bit of a dip going below our Stretch Goal #3, now steadily rising once more. All the while, I've gotten quite a few messages about Challenge Coins, so I've made a decision and I'm pretttttty excited about it.
I bit the bullet, and I've just ordered the Challenge Coins into production. They should arrive in 20 days. I know I know, we're not quite there yet - Stretch Goal #5 is still on the horizon at $18,000, but I've a gut feeling we're going to hit it and pretty quick. Regardless I'm going to cover the cost because I think these are just so darn cool. Best of all??? You can buy them now!
Challenge Coins
WIP Mockup of Challenge Coins (They'll be highly 3D, with antique copper, antique silver, and antique bronze plating)
Description and Material: I did a lot of searching, and while the most common base for the coins is a Zinc Alloy, and sometimes Iron, I found the best material (though a bit pricier) is brass. Brass has the heft that Zinc Alloy doesn't, yet with the sharp relief and 3D feel that iron doesn't allow. Then I took bids to over a hundred different manufacturers and found one who is able to do antique plating of copper, bronze, AND silver. Most were only interested in doing 1 variation, but I'm excited that we can have 3 different styles. Originally, I was only planning the 3 main elements (wind, sun, and leaf) as per our main characters, but I think the other 6 elements are awesome. So while 9 molds was quite a bit more expensive in up front costs on my end, I think collecting all nine is way too cool, so we'll have all nine elements:
Wind
Sun
Leaf
Water
Fire
Moon
Stone
Flesh
Metal
That means with all 3 different styles and nine elements, there's a total combination of 27 different types of coins!
Pricing
I know the last will be pretty popular, so we'll have it available for a limited time! That's a 70% discount. We'll be adding Challenge Coins into BackerKit, but we have a limited amount for our first run, so get them while supplies last.
If interested, go to your pledge and up your backing to have these as add ons.

Add your additional "Add-On" amount to pledge amount, e.g. all nine elemental coins = $149
After increasing your pledge, please shoot me a message here on Kickstarter with how many coins you've added to your pledge! This will make it easier on my end when it comes time to start shipping!
***Note***: If you are getting a physical item, e.g. Book four, our Hero's Set, or any other, these will come with NO additional shipping fee. So don't worry about that at all :) However, if you are a digital backer or supporter, please add $10 for shipping in addition to you coin backing!
***Note #2***: After the campaign ends, we'll ask for your choice in style (wind, water, fire, etc) depending on the amount you backed. If we have any left over, those will be BackerKit addons, though I've a feeling these will be pretty popular!
That said, I'm hoping with this incentive we'll hit some super exciting goals, get to our SG #3 for Interior Chapter Heading Art, SG# 4 for more Art, and even the mysteriousSG #6! I've also included ONE last Omni backer to help us get there - so if you want to be immortalized in the Saga, now's your chance!

Hey all,
Just a quick update about some updates on Stretch Goals! Haven't made a decision yet, but looks like the most voted for so far are:
1) New interior artwork done by Flavio Bolla (like the cover)
2) Challenge coins
3) Compendium (most popular) but still working out the cost of that
*Update last 2 spots for OMNI and GOD TIER - so excited to be writing some awesome people into the story. Every KS I find some cool new character. Last KS OMNI tier is being crafted into book 5, becoming a character that's a magical elemental being (won't spoil it too much). The Kickstarter before that, OMNI tier, became Lieutenant Grayson, Mathelstan's lieutenant and right hand to the infamous Thief-Lord of Water. It's a blast to write in fans into the Saga and even inject little easter eggs.
Oh yeah, in honor or Throwback Thursday, check the instagram for the first Ronin pic in stories!

Omni Backers are out! So much <3.
Stretch Goal #5 Announced - the most voted on "Ronin Saga CHALLENGE COINS"! at $18,000 - let's try to hit it! They'll be antique silver/copper/bronze and of each of the nine elements :D

Hi all,
What an amazing day one. I'm so honored and grateful for everyone being apart of this project. I know Tides of Fate w a long time coming. So needless to say, I'm excited (and thankful for your patience!). It's a good one - I can't pick favorites, but it's up there for the Saga thus far. So, what's next??
#1 in its Category!!! Wooo!
Here are the numbers: we hit 80% 10k in 24 hours, and slowly climbing to 90%, currently at $11,353 as of writing! So we're almost to our funding goal. We've slowed a little (definitely a bit expected after an initial push), so any share, tweet, or mention means the world.
My deep resonating hope is to hit some higher Stretch Goals like Interior Art, Chapter Heading Art... and even the mysterious SG #5 and #6. Check my instagram for some hints on what it might be!
I can't wait for everyone to read TIDES OF FATE - I really look forward hearing everyone's take on the next step in the journey in Farhaven.
